Consultation on Code of Practice on the Mental Health Act 2001

 

The Mental Health Commission has started work on developing a Code of Practice on the Mental Health Act 2001.  A code of practice on the Act would give guidance on the exercise of functions unders the 2001 Act.  In other words, it would explain how certain parts of the law are best put into practice.  The Mental Health Commission would like to seek your views on the proposed guidance.  The closing date for receipt of feedback during this first stage of consultation is Wednesday 28th April 2010.
