In June 2008, the National Strategy for Service User Involvment was officially launched.
This strategy confirms the commitment of the DoHC and the HSE to provide opportunities for people who use health services and their families and advocates to have input into how services operate, to provide feedback and to be heard.
To this end the following webpage has been developed to assist in the promotion and development of service user involvement in the Irish Health Service Executive. The webpage contains a number of practical functions and links to external sites which are detailed under the following headings:
